Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. She was raised listening to classic, old boleros along with the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana has a passion for the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. Ana started learning how to sing and play music from an early age, along together with her mom. She was given more formal singing instruction at the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. She performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. In 2000, she relocated to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. The passion and love she has in music, art and performing keep her engaged with many local organizations as a teacher and performer. Ana is also a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to sing the same.
