Sarah Rafferty

Sarah was a huge fan of the stage at a very young stage, even though she was still in the prep school. In order to avoid being late to field-hockey practice the drama teacher suggested that she skip her practice in favor of joining the cast of Richard III. This was the moment that Sarah's passion for acting began. Sarah's love for the craft inspired her to study the double degree of English along with Theater at Hamilton College. Sarah completed her senior year studying theatre abroad in London as well as Oxford. Sarah was encouraged to study about the arts by both of her parents. Her mother is chairperson of the English Department of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Greenwich CT in addition to her father, who paints. Both her talent and her studies have paid off. Her appearances have also been on numerous TV programs, such as Law and Order Six Feet Under Brothers & Sisters Samantha Who? Without a Trace CSI Miami Bones feature film and many professional stage plays, such as Four Single Fathers Falling For Grace, and As You Like It. Sarah's acting work on television is complemented by her role as a spokesperson for the Alzheimer's Association. She speaks often on the issue. Sarah has hosted their annual Sardi's celebration three years consecutively and was the presenter at the organization's final Sardi's party in March. Sarah lives on both east and west coasts with her two daughters. Sarah is often in Toronto often for jobs.
